The location was perfect, in downtown Indy. Close to everything. The check-in staff were very friendly and greeted us with a familiar nod or hello as we came and went. The hotel was beautiful with it's exposed brick and hardwood floors. The breakfast was fab and something for everyone.

The room is absolutely above and beyond. More than you really need but enough for the value....this is the place I will stay every time I return to Indy for work.
I wish I would have had more time to enjoy the room. It was basically a quick in and out.

The room was very nice, the beds were comfy, the staff was friendly, and breakfast was yummy. Easy walking distance to many restaurants and the Fieldhouse.
Our room faced Meridian Street and we got NO sleep the entire night. We could hear conversations happening outside on the sidewalk from the 3rd floor, as well as motorcycles, car stereos, car alarms, you name it. The curtains are just for show and you can't close them. It would probably help to block the noise if you could. That should be a no-brainer for a hotel located in the heart of downtown.

We loved the historic charm & modern decor with the high ceilings and beautiful architecture.
There was a Reese cup on the floor next to the bed and the corners of the carpet hadn't been vacuumed in some time so they were built up with dust. The fan in the bathroom was caked with dust. The drawer under the sink just fell off. Overall we really liked the hotel, but there were definitely some short cuts taken in the upkeep.

Friendly staff. Brought us breakfast items after serving time was over. Beds were comfortable.
Expensive valet parking/no on-site parking. Noisy in the evening. Couldn't sleep the first half of the night due to noisy neighbors. We ended up checking out a day early. Didn't realize from website (before booking) that there was not a door separating living area from bedroom. We have a loud snorer and is the reason we always stay in suites.

The building and rooms on higher floors are extremely clean. Easy parking available. Large breakfast options cater to all tastes.

Loved that the suite had high ceilings and quite spacious. Nice decor as well.
Walls are paper thin and you could hear everything going on outside and in the room next to you!! Didn't get any sleep and the room was not cheap! Totally not worth it!
